Jigawa Golden Stars will be chasing their fourth home win to confirm that they have indeed banished the ghost of the defeat by log leaders Plateau United in the first match at their adopted ground on Matchday 2. The Stars play temporarily at Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, where they semi since won three times.
Leading the bottom four, the home team will go for maximum points to leap out of the relegation zone.
Enyimba, on their part, has lost two of their three matches on the road, drawing the fourth 1-1 at Katsina United.
In No 5, the People’s Elephant will rise up to the second spot if they achieve their first away victory this season as they defend their title.
