Reports have it that the NSCDC official who got embarrassed on a Channels TV morning program, Sunrise Daily, Mr. Obafaiye Shem has been suspended for the embarrassment it attracted to the Commission.
Mr. Obafaiye’s repeated bluff at no specific answer on the live show, where he consistently said he could not give a ‘categorical’ answer to questions posed by the presenters, but went on to say the right answers would be given by his boss ‘at the top’ became broad joke of the season.
The NSCDC official, who was invited on the show to clarify the various scandals surrounding the recent employment exercise by the commission also gave the official website of the commission as WW.NSCDC, concluding it with ‘and that is all’.
Series photo-shopped images of Mr. Obafaiye and tones by music deejays have traveled beyond expectation since the outbreak of the embarrassment.
Mr. Obafaiye is the Lagos Commandant of the NCSDC, ridiculed for failing to know the official address of the commission he represented but depending on undisclosed boss at the top.
The NSCDC commandant’s failure to know the official web address of the commission may have been a loophole usurped by scam artistes to duplicate websites for duping unsuspecting job aspirants.
