Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Friday afternoon arrived Benin for a one-day official visit to the state.
The presidential aircraft with Number-5N-FGS which conveyed the nation’s number-two citizen landed at the airport in Benin at exactly 12:12pm.
Osinbajo was received by Gov. Godwin Obaseki, his Deputy, Mr. Philip Shaibu and other top government officials and leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The Vice President is expected to inaugurate some projects in the state and interact with the graduating students of Edo Tech Park.
The state cultural troupe was also at the airport to welcome the Vice President to the ancient city.
The one-day visit would also see him perform the foundation laying for the Edo Tech Park permanent site which is aimed at training 5000 world class software engineers in its first five years. (NAN)
