Governor of Lagos, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated the newly rehabilitated and upgraded Itamaga-Ewu Elepe section of Ijede road.
QuickNews reports that the 6.05 kilometre road which is an economically strategic road linking forty communities in Ikorodu axis of the state, has been in deplorable condition for some years, but is now in the first phase of rehabilitation works planned by the state government.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Sanwo-Olu announced the immediate commencement of the second phase of the rehabilitation, and that cheques were ready for disbursement as compensation to those whose properties had to give way to the ongoing road construction works.
