The Plateau State Chapter of the University of Jos Alumni Association (UJAA), has elected its new executive officials.
Naandye Dabugat, the Acting Director, Directorate of Alumni Relations of the university, announced this development in a statement on Tuesday in Jos.
According to Dabugat, the election that produced the new officials was held on Saturday, November 27.
The acting director explained that the officials would steer the affairs of the association in the chapter for the next two years.
He promised that the directorate would support and cooperate with the new officials toward the growth and development of the association in the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the newly-elected officials are Gad Shamaki, Chairman, Mallo Isa, Vice Chaiman, Kutman Hoses Ali, Secretary, and Tongnan Emmanuel, Assistant Secretary.
Others are Dalong Fredgine, Financial Secretary, Zamnaan Stanley, Public Relations Officer (PRO), Showul Royale, Internal Auditor, Sylvia Timothy, Legal Advicer and Rifkatu Musa, Treasurer (NAN)
