Hanoi, Feb. 11, 2026 (TV BRICS/NAN) Vietnam and Brazil have advanced efforts to strengthen bilateral relations to strengthen trade and business with the signing of a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) between enterprises in both countries.
VNA, a partner of TV BRICS reported that the agreement, signed in Sao Paulo with the support of the Vietnamese Embassy in Brazil, establishes a framework for closer coordination in trade facilitation, market development and business networking.
Senior diplomatic and trade representatives from both sides attended the ceremony, underlining the growing strategic importance of Vietnam–Brazil economic ties.
Under the MoU, the organisations will intensify cooperation in supporting companies seeking to enter each other’s markets, organise trade promotion missions, exchange strategic market intelligence and implement joint initiatives designed to stimulate investment and commercial partnerships.
The move is expected to improve direct connectivity between business communities and create new opportunities for exporters and investors.
Addressing the event, Vietnam’s ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi emphasised the role of institutional cooperation in driving tangible economic results.
He noted that stronger coordination mechanisms can help translate diplomatic goodwill into measurable growth in trade volumes and cross-border investment.
Representatives of the participating organisations described the agreement as a long-term commitment to building structured networks, facilitating knowledge exchange and turning commercial potential into concrete projects.
They also highlighted the importance of broadening engagement beyond trade, including cooperation in cultural and people-to-people exchanges to reinforce mutual understanding and sustainable partnership.
In the coming months, the sides are expected to launch joint trade promotion activities, convene business forums and develop a coordinated action plan aimed at consolidating and expanding Vietnam–Brazil economic relations. (TV BRICS/NAN)
