Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule, the Wife of Nasarawa State Governor, has assured women of the state government’s continued commitment to empower them economically to become self reliant.
Sule gave the assurance when she hosted the APC Women Leaders from 10 electoral wards of Keffi Local Government Area in Lafia on Wednesday.
She said her husband’s administration initiated different policies and programmes that would have direct bearing on the lives of the women.
The governor’s wife appreciated the women for the visit and assured them of all inclusive adminisitration.
According to her, Gov. Abdullahi Sule’s administration is transforming the lives of women and other people in the state.
” I want to appreciate you for the visit and to assure you of better days ahead.
“Gov. Abdullahi Sule has initiated different programmes that will empower the women and vulnerable groups positively.
” This is to enable women to become self reliant and contribute their quota positively to the development of the state,” he said
She called on the women and other people of the state to continue to support Gov. Sule’s adminisitration to succeed beyond 2023.
” This is for you and other people of the state to enjoy more dividends of democracy,” she added.
Earlier, the Leader of the delegation, Hajiya Talatu Saidu, said they were in Hajiya Sule’s office to reiterate their continued loyalty and support to her husband’s administration.
She appealed for more appointments and empowerment for women for the overall development of the state. (NAN)(
