2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League (Matchday 15 rescheduled): Jigawa Golden Stars v Akwa United (4 pm)

Akwa United need a two-goal victory to go on top of the table in place of Kwara United and ahead of Kano Pillars. But it will not be that easy for the Promise Keepers.

Their hosts Jigawa Golden Stars have played seven times at Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna since adopting that facility as their home ground. Except for the first match, which they lost by a lone goal to Rangers on 10th January, the Badaru Boys have won four and drawn the other two.

Jigawa will move one step up to No 13 if they win.

Enyimba have four outstanding fixtures as a result of their continental engagement. Some of these will be expected to be played during the ongoing break.

The People’s Elephant are fifth on the log, six points adrift of Kwara United and Kano Pillars, the frontrunners.
