3 in court over  alleged burglary in Ibadan

Three suspects, Tiamiyu Mukaila, 53, Jamiu Gbadamosi, 35 and Saheed Rafiu, 35, were on Tuesday arraigned in an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court , Ibadan over an alleged burglary.

The suspects, whose addresses were not provided, were arraigned before the court for alleged conspiracy, shop breaking and stealing, to which they pleaded not guilty.

The Prosecutor, ASP Anthony Igori, told the court that the defendants allegedly committed the offence on April 13, at about 2. 00 a.m, at Ojoo area, in the metropolis.

Igori alleged that the defendants broke into the shop of Prince Adeyemo and stole his computer monitormonitor and vehicle parts worth N876, 000.

The Prosecutor said the offence contravened  the Criminal Laws of Oyo State, 2000.

The trial Magistrate, Mr Olaolu Olanipekun granted the defendants bail in the sum of N100, 000 each and two sureties in like sum.

He adjourned the case until May 27, for hearing.(NAN)
