Ibadan, March 30, 2026 (NAN) Six men, Akeem Rashid; Lukman Adedosu; Taofeek Adeshina; Kolade Onifade; Lateef Jongbo; and Bankole Abdulfatai, on Monday appeared before an Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan over alleged deprivation of liberty.
The defendants, Rashid, 50; Adedosu, 50; Adeshina, 56; Onifade, 50; Jongbo, 63; and Abdulfatai, 46, whose addresses were not provided, are facing charges of conspiracy, breach of peace and deprivation of liberty.
They all pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Insp Adeshina Folaranmi, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on March 29 at about 3.50 p.m. in the Ido area of Ibadan.

The Magistrate, Mrs Oluwabusayo Osho, granted each defendant bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
She adjourned the case until June 30 for hearing. (NAN)
