Ile-Ife (Osun), March 5, 2026 (NAN) An Ile-Ife Magistrates’ Court, on Thursday, remanded Amusan Ayodeji, 31, facing trial over alleged N30000 iron sheets theft.
Ayodeji, who was without legal representation in court, pleaded not guilty to the charge of stealing.
The Magistrate, Mr Taofeek Badmus, ordered that the defendant should be remanded in the custodial facility, Ile-Ife, pending consideration of his bail application.
Badmus adjourned the case until March 9, for hearing.
Earlier, the Prosecutor, Insp Adesina Elijah, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on March 4, at 5:00 p.m. at Anglican High School, Edunabon in Ipetumodu, Osun
Elijah said that the defendant stole some iron sheets that valued N30,000,property of Anglican High School Edunabon, Ipetumodu.
He said that the offence contravened Section 383 and was punishable under 390 (9) of the Osun Criminal Law, 2002. (NAN)
