Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has said he will resist any manipulation of the constitutional amendment process that will attempt to stop INEC from transmitting the 2023 election results electronically
Gov Wike said the only way the vote of the people will count is when the results are transmitted electronically
He gave this yesterday during the foundation laying ceremony for the construction of 9200 capacity ultramodern convocation arena of the University of Port Harcourt by the Rivers State government
Governor Wike also described as unfortunate on how the appointment of Vice Chancellors are now based on party loyalty and ability to rig elections for the party in power and warned against any attempt to rig the 2023 elections in Rivers State
