Col. Abdu Abdu, the Commanding Officer, 243 Battalion of the Nigerian Army, Ibereko, Badagry, has urged pupils in primary schools in the town to stay focused in their academic pursuits.

“Life has a pattern, and the pattern of life starts when you are a small boy or girl.
“So, as a small boy or girl, you have to face your studies and learn your religion; know that there is a God and know how to worship Him.
“Be good students by listening to what your teachers teach you; if you don’t understand, please ask questions.
“Honour your teachers; they are your parents in school.
“With your education, you can become whatever you want in life.
“Concentrate on your studies so that people will be willing to assist you in the future,” he said.
In his remarks, Aholu Jimoh Fabiyi of Ikoga-Zebbe Kingdom also urged the students to take their studies seriously so as to become leaders of tomorrow.
