The club’s Sporting Director, Michael Zorc disclosed that Dortmund have ruled out Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaving the club in the summer, insisting that their transfer window is closed.
The 28-year-old striker has been linked with the likes of AC Milan and Chelsea, while reports of a mega move to China have also surfaced.
The Gabonese was the top scorer in the Bundesliga in the 2016-17 campaign, scoring an incredible 31 goals in 32 games to see off competition from Robert Lewandowski. It appears the Gabon international is going to be staying put, with the club’s Sporting Director revealing that time has run out for any interested parties.
He confirmed to reporters on Tuesday: “We see the transfer window as closed. Time was a deciding factor.”
The media can only speculate at this very moment of the transfer window, impossibility is nothing in the face of emerging transfer when the big guns are commanding.
