President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, has been given his certificate of return by the Chairman, Independent Nigeria Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Attahiru Jega.
In a ceremony that was held on Wednesday at the International Conference Center, Abuja, General Buhari donning an overflowing navy blue attire was accompanied by the Vice-President-elect, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, their wives and other members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) including its national leader, Bola Tinubu, Governors of Ogun, Oyo, Imo, Rivers and Osun states.
Buhari in an address after receiving the certificate thanked the INEC chairman for conducting a peaceful and credible election.
He also commended President Goodluck Jonathan for taking his defeat at the polls in good faith.
