COVID-19: Olori Afolabi Donates Facemasks to School for the Blind

Government Special School for the Blind, Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State, on Monday, received 100 facemasks to help the students stay safe in face of the Coronavirus pandemic and as they interact with one another.

The humane gesture was made by the publisher of online medium Scroll Report and Queen of Apomuland, Olori Janet Afolabi.

The school Principal, Omojala Adewale, received the facemasks from a staff of the media house, Mercy Aderiyi, who delivered them.

Afolabi said the act of kindness was part of her effort to reduce the spread of te virus, which she described as “the world’s largest emergency”.

She advised the young people to obey the rules of staying safe in the period, encouraged them to maintain a high level of personal hygiene, observe social distancing rules and stay away from crowded places.
