Ikole-Ekiti (Ekiti) Jan.14, 2026 (NAN) The Chairman of Ikole Local Government Area (LGA) of Ekiti, Mr Bayo Omojola, has urged workers of the local government to show commitment and punctuality to their duties in the new year.
Omojola gave the advice on Wednesday in Ikole- Ekiti, during his first meeting with workers for the new year.
The chairman noted that his administration can only achieve its development agenda, by good efforts from the workers.
He, consequently, urged them to discharge their duties diligently, and eschew any forms of malice and conflict with colleagues.
“I want to thank God for his divine protection and faithfulness over every worker in Ikole Local Government Area.
“This is a new year, and I want every workers of this council to embrace the habit of commitment and punctuality in their offices.
“The engine room of every council are the workers, and I am ready to provide a conducive environment to enhance your productivity,” he said
Omojola assured the workers that his administration would give priority attention to their welfare in 2026. (NAN)
