Abel Tesfaye, popularly known as The Weeknd, has released his sixth studio album titled “Hurry Up Tomorrow.”.
The album, which was originally scheduled for release on Jan. 24, was postponed due to the wildfire crisis in Los Angeles, in which he donated 1 million dollars to relief efforts.
He also canceled his one-night-only album release stadium show at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, which was originally set for Jan. 25.
“Hurry Up Tomorrow” serves as the third and final installment of his latest trilogy, following 2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM.
The album was preceded by three singles: “Dancing in the Flames,” “São Paulo” featuring Anitta, and “Timeless” featuring Playboi Carti, which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100.
The Canadian-Ethiopian artist will also make his feature film debut in the accompanying psychological thriller titled “Hurry Up Tomorrow.”.
The movie is scheduled to be in cinemas on May 16 and will be distributed by Liongate film studios. (NAN)
