Abuja, Jan. 20, (NAN) The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) FCT Commandant, Dr Olusola Odumosu, has charged the 402 promoted personnel on dedication to the mandates of the corps.

The commandant gave the charge on Tuesday while decorating officers of the command at its Headquarters in Abuja.

Odumosu said that the promotion attracts more responsibility and commitment by the personnel.

“Your promotions are well deserved as it’s a testament to your hard work, professionalism, and loyalty to the ideals of the Corps.

“Promotion, however, is not an entitlement; it is a call to higher responsibility, greater discipline, and enhanced service delivery; to whom much is given, much is expected.

“Today is not just a celebration of new ranks; it is a celebration of dedication, discipline, resilience, and unwavering commitment to national service,” he said.

Odumosu urged the newly promoted officers and men to wear their new ranks with humility, integrity, and renewed zeal.

“Let your conduct reflect the confidence reposed in you by the corps and the Nigerian people.

“Be role models to your subordinates, uphold the highest ethical standards and remain steadfast in your loyalty to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“Once again, congratulations to our newly promoted officers. May your elevation inspire you to greater heights of service to our nation,” he said. (NAN)
