In a whirlwind sweeping his cabinet, Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has let go of yet another commissioner; this time, Commissioner for Special Duties .
Senator Ayade on Tuesday through a press statement fired Mr Chris Etta of his appointment with immediate effect, just over a week after the governor sacked four of his Commissioners and five Special Adviser for disloyalty.
The fall guys had refused to switch political allegiance, after the governor defected from the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Francis Etta is an associate of Senator Liyel Imoke, who is a PDP chieftain in the State, a former Governor of Cross River State, and a former Minister of Power and Steel.
