A group, Young Professionals of Nigeria, has urged President-elect Bola Tinubu to prioritise job creation, Small Medium Enterprise Enterprises (SMEs) and local content development in the country.
The group leader, Pastor John Desmond, who said this in a statement on Thursday in Abuja, also advised Tinubu to engender new political network across Nigeria in order to restore unity and lost glory.
The group leader also congratulated Nigerians for electing Tinubu, whom he described as a true democrat and advocate of democracy in Nigeria.
He thanked Nigerians who believed in the president-elect’s mandate and supported him to victory during the election.
“Tinubu is an experienced leader and we believed God would use him to hasten the development of Nigeria,” Desmond said.
He said that the president-elect is among the father of the present democratic dispensation, having fought for enthronement of democracy for Nigeria from the frontline.(NAN)
