The Jigawa House of Assembly on Friday confirmed the appointment of Mr Surajo Alhaji-Musa as commissioner and member the state Executive Council, after screening him
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the nominee, who had been serving as the Technical Adviser to Gov. Umar Namadi on Power and Renewable Energy, was confirmed by the lawmakers during plenary.
The confirmation of the nominee followed Namadi’s request, presented to the house by the Speaker, Mr Haruna Aliyu.
NAN reports that the nominee responded to questions asked by some of the lawmakers during a committee of whole, chaired by the Speaker.(NAN)
