Katsina, Aug. 22, 2025 (NAN)Katsina Football Academy on Friday, congratulated five of its players — Usman Abdullahi, Ahmad Nasir, Umar Yusuf, Abubakar Hassan, and Kabir Muhammed Kabir — on their recent signing by NPFL side Katsina United.
Management’s congratulatory message is contained in a statement issued by the academy’s Director, Shamsuddeen Ibrahim, on Friday in Katsina.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the five players are among the 12 recently signed by the senior clubs.
Ibrahim revealed that the development came at the time when their clubside was preparing for the Nigerian Premier Football League 2025/2026, season, set to begin on Friday (today) at different venues across the country.
He further congratulated the players for reaching another milestone in their football careers.
The director, while wishing the players success, also charged them to be good ambassadors while at the number one clubside in the state.
Similarly, he urged them to redouble their efforts and work harder as they were going to participate in the top league in the country.(NAN)
