Ilorin, Jan. 15, 2026 (NAN) Kwara State University, Malete, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with CRC Credit Bureau Ltd. to establish a mutually beneficial institutional partnership.

The agreement was confirmed in a statement by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Jimoh Shaykh-Luqman, issued in Malete on Thursday.

CRC Credit Bureau’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ahmed Popoola, expressed confidence that the collaboration would succeed.

“Research in finance, business, data management and technology will be strengthened through access to anonymised CRC data for KWASU researchers and students,” Popoola said.

He added that internships, faculty attachments and annual enlightenment programmes would enhance human capital and understanding of data-driven finance.

“This will promote a critical partnership between academia and industry,” Popoola noted.
