Ngige Receives Funds to Build Mosque in Awka

Senator Chris Ngige, APC candidate in the coming gubernatorial election in Anambra State has allegedly received a large sum of money from undisclosed Arab sources who are said to be sympathetic to his APC backers to build a magnificent mosque in Awka and convert the predominantly Christian population of Anambra State to Islam in exchange for funding his dream to become the next governor of Anambra State.

This revelation is the core of a tripartite agreement signed by the Senator representing Anambra Central in the upper legislative chamber with some faceless Jihad-minded Arabs and the Nigerian promoters of the APC in exchange for the staggering sum of $500m to prosecute his gubernatorial campaign in Anambra State.

In fulfilment of this agreement, Senator Ngige is expected to build a mosque in the sparsely populated Agu Awka area, in the outskirts of Awka, the Anambra State capital within one year of assuming office and subsequently commence a programmed line of action that would ensure a gradual conversion of Anambrarians to Islam.

The agreement was allegedly signed in Senator Ngige’s desperate effort to raise more funds for the final leg of his gubernatorial campaign which had floundered temporarily due to dwindling funds.

This was revealed at the weekend in Awka at a briefing with select journalists and culture-conscious youths by a New York-based Professor of medicine who is also a prominent leader of the Igbo Community in the East Coast of the USA.

Pleading anonymity, the renowned Professor medicine  explained that under the terms of the agreement, Senator Ngige is expected to carry out a 3-year “innocuous” evangelization programme all through the state in a manner that would enable Islam establish a firm foothold in South Eastern Nigeria.

According to him, the basic idea behind the Islamization project for which Senator Ngige has been found a willing tool was to ensure a total conversion of Igboland into an Islamic territory by the year 2020 with Anambra State as the launching pad.

“We have a saying that Anambra bu isi Igbo (Anambra is the leader of the Igbo race). So, their calculation is that once they subdue Anambra, the rest of Igboland will be a piece of cake. That way, they would be fulfilling Uthman Dan Fodio’s 19th Century plan of dipping the Koran in the Atlantic which translates to a comprehensive Islamization of Southern Nigeria,” the Professor of Medicine explained.

On the choice of Senator Nigige for this plot, the Igbo leader opined that the former governor’s antecedents recommended him easily to the Arabs and their APC allies who are also predominantly Muslims from the Northern and South Western parts of the country.

“The choice of Ngige is a fairly easy one for them to make. They know that he is ready to do anything for power including a negotiation with the devil himself if that is what it takes. They know how desperately he wants power. They also know that he can turn his back firmly on the agitations of his people in order to gain access to power. He did it when he sealed a pact with Chris Ubah before a deity in Okija. He did it again when he defended Fashola’s deportation of his brothers in exchange for power. He also turned deaf ears to all the complaints from Onitsha people and their Obi and went on to violate their Ofala Day recently. So, they found in him the perfect weapon of assault on the Igbo belief system,” the US-based Igbo leader explained.

The Professor of Medicine who claimed to be in possession of a copy of the tripartite agreement also revealed that the Senator had given his Arab financiers his assurances to carry out the terms of the agreement to the letter.

Consequently, the Senator’s Campaign Organisation is said to have gone on a spending spree, shelling out mind-boggling sums to lubricate his media campaign and enticing critical voting populations in Anambra State.

“They have a lot of money to throw around. That is why they are buying up large spaces in prominent newspapers in the country, especially those with large circulation in the South East and South South to push his candidacy and dishing out huge funds to opinion leaders in the state. They have also won over a large segment of the idle youth population who have been out of school for a while on account of the lingering University strike.  This group was manipulated to cause trouble at the Uke Adoration Ground last weekend. The Uke tragedy was a major part of the onslaught on the belief system of Ndigbo. This is just the beginning. If Ngige wins, you will see the entire agenda at work” he revealed.

Circulating a list of the leadership of the APC to buttress his claims, the Igbo leader observed that APC looked very much like a Muslim party as everyone from its Chairman, Chief Abdulkareem Bisi Akande to its Northern and Southern Leaders, General Muhammadu Buhari and Bola Ahmed Tinubu, respectively are Muslims.

“You would be surprised to also know that APC’s National Secretary, Deputy National Secretary, National Publicity Secretary, National Youth Leader, National Legal Adviser, National Women Leader, National Financial Secretary, National Treasurer, National Auditor and two Ex-Officio members are all Muslims,” the Professor further explained.
