The incumbent and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has recorded a clean sweep of the presidential election in Abia State.
Jonathan won in all the 17 local government areas of the state by a wide margin. The Returning Officer for Abia State, Prof. Benjamin Ozumba, declared Jonathan the winner on Monday.
Jonathan polled 368,303 to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, who scored a paltry 13,394 votes.
