Bottom placed Nasarawa United won their first match of the season last Sunday when they pipped Heartland 1-0 in Lafia. But that was not enough to lift them up from the base.

If they make it two wins in back-to-back home games they will push Rangers to the last spot and move a step ahead.

Pillars were victorious by the same scoreline as Nasarawa United over Heartland when FC Ifeanyi Ubah visited Kano four days ago. That victory placed Pillars, who started the season poorly, at No 11 on the log.

Should Masu Gida achieve their second away win of the season after beating Dakkada FC in Uyo, they will break into the top three.
