TravelDen Nig. Ltd., a subsidiary of Finchglow Holdings, said on Friday that it would raise young travel entrepreneurs in an effort to tackle unemployment and economic hardship.
The Managing Director of TravelDen, Mr. Olugbenga Onitilo, gave the assurance at an interactive session with aviation journalists in Lagos.
He said that the company would accomplish the goal through its Affiliate Travel Program.
According to him, the program will help young entrepreneurs sell travel products such as tickets and hotel reservations and get commissions and other incentives.
“On our affiliate program, we are going to use it as an entrepreneurial drive where we get people in to be partners.
“At the same time, we are using it as an entrepreneurial drive where we will be focusing on young people, the unemployed, or people looking for other sources of income.
“They will earn incentives and commissions that will help them to take care of day-to-day expenses and manage their families,” Onitilo said.
He said that the company would soon launch its online travel agency to simplify travel business.
“Our online travel agency, which we plan to launch before the end of the first quarter, will be supported by 24-hour daily call centres,” he said.
The Managing Director of FCM Nigeria, also a subsidiary of Finchglow Holdings, Ms. Adejoju Olutimayin, said that the company recorded growth in 2024 due to significant partnerships.
Olutimayin said that the growth would enable the company to increase its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in 2025 by feeding the vulnerable.
She said that the company’s CSR in the past focused on training and catering for the less privileged. (NAN)
