Norbert Okolie, Rangers International FC of Enugu media officer, said the club had signed former Mountain of Fire and Miracle (MFM) goalkeeper, Bamidele Adeniyi.
Okolie made this known to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu, on Tuesday, saying that Adeniyi would compete for the number goalkeeping slot against Nana Bonsu, Oko Chizoba and Seidu Mutawakilu.
He noted that the 29-year-old goalkeeper made 19 appearances, with seven clean sheets, for his former club in the 2020/2021 season.
Okolie said that the goalkeeper was impressive in goal in some of the practice matches played by Rangers FC during the club’s week-long close camp at Nsukka.
The Rangers’ media officer quoted Adeniyi as saying that putting pen to paper for Rangers International FC was a thing of joy.
“With some quality goalkeepers already on the ground, I really need to work extra hard in order to be counted.
” I believe that with determination, I shall come up with my best to help the club actualize it’s dream for the coming season”, he said. (NAN).
