South Africa take group lead
Bafana Bafana climbed to the top of Group A with a 2-0 victory over Angola in their Africa Cup of Nations clash in Durban on Wednesday.
Siyabonga Sangweni scored the opener in the 30th minute and Lehohonolo Majoro buried the winner in the 62nd minute.The hosts grabbed the first points in their group after both games in Saturday’s double header in Johannesburg ended goalless.
Morocco and Cape Verde, the other two teams in the group, square off in the second match of the double header at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
