Jalingo, March 24, 2026 (NAN) Justice Joel Agya, the Chief Judge of Taraba on Tuesday announced the 2026 Easter Vacation notice for the state high courts judges.
This is contained in the Taraba State Legal Notice NO. 2 of 2026 and Issued by Justice Agya in Jalingo.
The notice directed that there would be Easter vacation of high courts throughout the state, beginning from Monday.
“Whereas it is provided under Order 9. Rule 4 (b) of the Taraba State High Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2026, that the sitting of the high courts for the dispatch of cases shall be held on every working days of the week.
“The court shall not sit during the period beginning from the Monday of the week of Good Friday and ending on the Friday of the week of Easter Monday.
“Now therefore, it is hereby directed that there shall be an Easter Vacation of the high courts throughout the state commencing on Monday, March 30, 2026 and ending Friday April 10, 2026. (NAN)
