Ibadan, Feb. 2, 2026(NAN) The Oyo State Government has approved early closure of offices in all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to enable public servants attend the grand finale of the state’s 50th Anniversary Celebrations.
The directive was conveyed in a statement issued in Ibadan on Monday by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Musibau Babatunde.
The statement directed all state government offices to close by noon on Tuesday.
It said that the approval was granted by Gov. Seyi Makinde, for the workers to participate in the activities celebrating the golden jubilee anniversary.
The SSG said that Heads of MDAs were to ensure strict compliance with the directive, while also making adequate arrangements for skeletal services in critical areas where necessary.
Babatunde also said that the information should be given the widest publicity to ensure awareness and compliance across the state.(NAN)
