The police command in Katsina State on Thursday advised candidates who went through the 2020 Constable recruitment exercise to check their status at the command’s headquarters in Katsina.
SP Gambo Isa, the Command’s spokesman stated in Katsina that names of successful candidates at the medical screening had been released.
“Successful candidates of Katsina State origin are hereby enjoined to visit the recruitment portal on: www.policerecruitmen.gov.org or alternatively visit the Police Command Headquarters, Katsina, to check their names.
“They are to report at the Command Headquarters on Jan. 10 by 6 a.m. as the state government has provided free vehicles to convey them to Police College, Kaduna, for commencement of training.
“Successful candidates are expected to report with two pairs of white, round-neck Tee-Shirts and shorts, two pairs of white sportswear, and two pairs of white bed sheets.
“Other items are two white pillow cases, facemasks, hand sanitizers, small food flask with two flat plates and a set of cutlery, a hoe, cutlass, broom, bucket and toiletries,’’ he stated.
According to Isa, they are also expected to provide hardcover notebooks, original copy of National Identity Card/slip, original copies of credentials and four copies of passport photographs with white background.
“They are to note that late-comers will not be admitted into the Police College, for training,’’ he stressed.
While congratulating the successful candidates, Isa urged them to be good ambassadors of the Katsina State throughout their career in the Police. (NAN)
