Wife of the Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has urged Nigerian youths to remain hopeful and actively contribute to shaping the nation’s future.
Soludo gave the advice in a Democracy Day message on Friday in Awka.
She urged the youths to continue believing in the promise of Nigeria and play their part in building a society where every family can thrive in good health, dignity and prosperity.
“I encourage everyone, especially our young people, to continue believing in the promise of our nation and to play their part in shaping a future where every family can thrive in good health, dignity and prosperity,” she said.
The governor’s wife described Democracy Day as a celebration of the enduring power of the people’s voice, hope and a collective resolve to build a better nation where dreams are realized.
According to her, democracy demonstrates that progress is possible when citizens actively participate in governance, leaders remain visionary and communities work together for the common good.
Soludo consequently, called on Nigerians to renew their commitment to the values of peace, unity, justice and service to humanity as the country marks Democracy Day.
She expressed optimism about the nation’s future and urged citizens to work together towards building the Nigeria of their dreams.
“Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria. Together, we can build the Nigeria of our dreams,” she said. (NAN)
