
The Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation has extended its deepest condolences to the people of Gwoza, Borno and the entire nation following the tragic loss of lives and injuries resulting from the recent devastating suicide attacks .
This was contained in a statement by Mr Abubakar Umar, Director-General of the foundation, issued to newsmen on Monday in Kaduna.
”These reprehensible acts of terror have inflicted immeasurable grief and suffering upon numerous innocent individuals and their families.
“As we mourn the victims of this senseless violence, we must also reflect on how to prevent such tragedies in the future,” said Umar.
Umar called on all the citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the authorities promptly.
“By working together and staying alert, we can help prevent similar attacks and protect our communities,” he said.
Umar further called on the government to take decisive action to alleviate the suffering of the victims and their families.
“It is essential that the authorities provide adequate support, care, and compensation to those affected by this tragedy.
“No one should have to endure such pain alone, and we must stand united in providing assistance and solace to those in need.
”In the light of this devastating event, we must reaffirm our commitment to fostering a culture of peace, unity, and resilience in our nation,” he urged.
Umar emphasized the need to honuor the memory of the lives lost by coming together to ensure a future where such acts of violence were eradicated from the society.(NAN
