Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has revealed that it’s website was earlier hacked. It also revealed that their engineers are at the moment investigating the development, as was contained in a tweet at its Twitter handle: @inecnigeria: We are aware of the recent hack of our @inecnigeria website, we are currently investigating this incident
Recall that DSS warned about this, but it’s warning was dismissed in some quarters as politically motivated by the ruling government.
