ABUJA – The Federal Government has expressed unwavering confidence in the Super Eagles’ ability to clinch victory and bring home the coveted 2023 African Nations Cup trophy.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, affirmed this sentiment while commending the team for their resounding victory over South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in the semifinals of the African Nations Cup.
In a statement released by the Special Assistant to the Minister, Mr. Rabiu Ibrahim, in Abuja, Idris assured the Super Eagles of the nation’s full support and solidarity.
“The entire nation stands firmly behind the Super Eagles as they prepare to etch their names in gold in African and global football. You carry the hopes and aspirations of the entire nation on your shoulders,” he declared.
Idris emphasised that Nigerians would continue to rally behind the team as they aim for greatness in the final match.
