I have just read the apology purportedly released by ace musician Sammie okposo on his latest escapade of which we have been told resulted in impregnating a woman in far away US.
The deliberateness of the art of making love makes nonsense of this apology. He would have plotted, planned, seduced, begged, toasted offered gifts for the sexual favour
And now he is apologizing. What is he apologising for? That he didn’t chook her or that he didn’t knw what he was doing when he was screaming at the peak of orgasm?
That apology speaks very loud of his character, a spineless useless oaf who goes around in an unbridled quest for sexual favours.
Recall that he has a reputation and an history in these matters and that is why the purported apology falls flat.
I respect the lady in question. I have seen a statement allegedly issued by her in which she had said, she will keep the baby and that she knows that fornication is wrong but she will still keep her baby.
Someone should kindly tell this Sammie person that you must man up to your responsibilities and that apologies on things this deliberate is cowardly and doesn’t speak well.
He should have simply said, ‘People of Nigeria sometime last year on a trip to the US, I met and fell in love with a very beautiful lady and got carried away. We made love and its looking like it may have resulted in a pregnancy. I would like to crave the indulgence of the public to kindly allow us work through this tough times as we seek a credible solution to this matter.’
Simple. That is what a man would do and not this crappy rubbish of an apology
