25th Anniversary: Ex-Zamfara Speaker, feliiciates Emir of Yauri
The former Speaker, Zamfara, House of Assembly, Garba Rikiji, has congratulated the Emir of Yauri in Kebbi, Dr Muhammad Zayyanu, over his 25th anniversary on the throne.
Rikiji stated this in a statement issued in Gusau on Thursday issued by his media aide, Malam Nasiru Biyabiki.
According to the Biyabiki, Rikiji spoke when he represented the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinibu, Femi Gbajabiamila, at a public lecture held in Yauri town to celebrate the silver jubilee of Zayyanu as the 42nd Emir of Yauri.
Rikiji further described the emir as an elder statesman and a
father with good qualities of leadership.
“The emir has recorded a lot of achievements in the last 25 years on the throne as emir of Yauri.
“Dr Muhammad Zayyanu is a leader with a high level of dedication and transparency who contributed to the prevalence of peace and stability in the country.
“His reign has recorded remarkable achievements and transformed the lives of people in the areas of security, education, economy, banking, finance and communication, among others.
“The emir has successfully brought the people closer to the leadership because he makes wide consultations before taking any decisions on critical issues,” Rikiji explained. (NAN)
