There are strong indications that former President Olusegun Obasanjo and his allies have concluded their arrangements to move their party structure to the All Progressives Congress (APC) within the first quarter of 2014. According to our source, Chief Obasanjo had been holding several meetings with different stakeholders within the PDP who had been unhappy with the Bamanga Tukur led PDP. The move is also seen as apparent intention to stop President Goodluck Jonathan’s 2015 ambition.

The former president had written an 18 page letter to President Jonathan over the state of the Nation on various issues in which he accused President Jonathan of recruiting a killer squad among many others. Obasanjo’s letter has led to a harvest of letters from parties loyal to the former president and the incumbent.

More details shortly….
